Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse – Acadia National Park, Maine

The Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse is located in the village of Bass Harbor and marks the entrance to Bass Harbor on the southwestern side of Mount Desert Island, Acadia National Park, Maine. The lighthouse was built in 1858 on a stone foundation and stands 56 feet above the mean high water level. The image shown was taken on May 9, 2016 using a Canon 6D, Canon EF17-40mm f/4L USM lens, single 1/10 second exposure at f/22, ISO 100, 32mm, tripod mounted, slightly cropped from a larger image.

This view was captured using a Canon 6D and Samyang 14mm lens, 30 second single exposure at ISO 3200 and f/2.8, tripod mounted. Enjoy!
