Morning Glory – August 3, 2017

I woke up this morning and peeked out my backdoor to see this sight greeting me! The clouds were moving fast to the east and I sure wanted to keep them in the image. The brightest object in the lower left is the planet Venus. Going clockwise from Venus is the star Alnath, Capella, Algol, the Pleiades Cluster and then Aldebaran and the Hyades Cluster.

Tech Specs: Canon 6D, Canon EF17-40mm f/4L USM lens, tripod mounted, 10 seconds at ISO 3200, f/4 and 40mm. Diffraction spikes added in post processing. Location: Weatherly, Pennsylvania. Date/Time: August 3, 2017 at 08:50 UTC.
